Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Venture Customs (Gordon, Nebraska) collects on venturecustomrings.com, how it is used and who it is shared with.

When you order

We collect your name, email, phone, and shipping and billing address to make, ship and support your order. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Accounts

If you create an account, we keep your email, name and order history so you can see your orders.

Custom ring requests, reviews and forms

When you request a custom ring, we keep your details, your idea, the photos you send and our messages, so we can quote, draw and make your ring. Your photos stay private to you and us. When you write a review, your first name, review and any photos you add are shown on the site after we check them; your email is never shown. When you ask for our design catalog, we save your name and email to send it, and we only email you about new rings if you tick that box. Messages from the contact form go to us by email so we can reply.

Email

We send order confirmations, shipping updates, custom ring updates and, after delivery, a request to review your ring. If you opted in, we may also email you about new rings. You can ask us to stop at any time.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run the store, and only what each one needs: Stripe (payments), ShipStation and the shipping carriers (to ship your order), Supabase and Vercel (our database and hosting), Resend (to send our emails) and Meta (to measure our ads, below). We do not sell your information.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses cookies to keep you signed in and remember your cart. We also use our own cookies to understand how people find and use the site: the page you arrived on, the site or ad that sent you, the pages you view, rings you add to your cart and whether you finish checkout, along with your device type, browser and approximate location (city level, from your IP address). This stays in our own store database. We use it to improve the store and to see which ads work.

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API to measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram. They share with Meta the pages you view, rings you look at and add to your cart, when you start checkout, purchases and their value, and form sign-ups, along with Meta’s cookies, your IP address and browser. For purchases and forms we also send your email, phone, name and address, scrambled (hashed) before they leave our store, so Meta can match them to an account. Meta’s own privacy policy covers what it does with this.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. The store still works without them. You can also manage ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop emails, through the contact page. We keep order records as long as we need them for taxes and accounting.

Children

The site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update it here with a new date.
